Don't get emotionally invested into this case. The media very shamelessly pulled on people's heart strings. They showed Treyvon when he was 8 years old giving the impression that the big bad zimmerman chased down and murdered an innocent child.
Instead the actual picture of trayvon is a menacing figure in a hoodie at over 6 feet tall. He got suspended from his high school for several days (and trust me you don't get suspended for several days for nothing). The kid was not on his way to Harvard Law Review, he was on his way to be a thug. I think they found "burglary instruments" but they could not prove were his.
Ben Crum a dbag of highest degree accused Zimmerman of having superficial wounds. Initially the media played the tape of Zimmerman saying something and claiming he said "coons". CNN was shameless about it but it turned out he said fucking punks not coons. The media marveled at a low resolution recording of Zimmerman being taken into custody that did not show much. A much higher resolution then showed significant injury. The media purposely sat on evidence. If every single picture and recording were released immediately the narrative would be completely different. Most recently there was an enhanced picture of Zimmerman with a clearly broken nose.
So what are the facts:
Zimmerman with grass stains on his back, broken nose, gashes behind his head, major bleeding.
Trayvon Martin with bruised knuckles and 1 close range gun shot to the chest.
If you believe Zimmerman chased down Trayvon and Trayvon was merely defending himself you would be hard pressed to explain how Trayvon kept hitting Zimmerman when he was on his back. It is not self defense when you are trying to finish someone off, which is what Trayvon was doing. You say Zimmerman is lying. By law if there are two equally plausible explanations given the evidence and one points to guilt and the other to acquittal the jury
MUST take the acquittal route. If you don't like the zimmerman story, you don't have an alternative. Not a single witness stepped up and said they saw how the fight started.
Zimmerman does not strike me as a cold blooded killer. For a picture of cold blooded killer look at the scum that set the building on fire and killed firefighters. Zimmerman is simply a wannabe cop who almost got himself killed by playing one. He saw someone he never saw in his neighborhood before and decided to confront him. Given the history of burglaries in the area, he was well within his rights.
