Dummies don't realize that something has to be done regardless. The US doesn't even seem to have proper planning and contingency for weather events like the fires in California or the hurricanes/flooding that are quite regular in numerous states. The irony was not lost when North Carolina had floods and we had a poster on here from there denying climate change and denying some research I found that North Carolina is one of the worst climate denier states in your country. They literally let developers build in flood zones based on their "faith" that flooding was unlikely and that rising ocean levels wasn't a thing to be concerned about.

The thing is that the USA is not going to destroy itself over a false narrative and dubious "science". You folks up in Canada can do what you like, all 14 of you.
It's not a false narrative the US suffers from climate related disasters regularly and almost never looks at all prepared for any of them. And the thing is, as long as people like you are going to continue to be willfully ignorant and cavalier about it, the world doesn't have any compassion left for the US. Think what you want about Canada but our quality of life has been trending up the last 20 years and it's been trending down in the US.

There is some truth to that. There is no proof they were climate related but there have always been hurricanes, tornadoes, even earthquakes. It's a political question how much money do you spend on public services that are not going to be used much, but when they are used, they are urgently important. We probably need to spend more, or maybe spend it more effectively.
You don't understand the American spirit of risk taking. It's what made our country great. Make a foolish but attractive bet risking a total loss, secure in the knowledge the government will bail you out.

It clear your rants about the USA have little to do with climate. You just hate the country to your South and aren't fooling anyone here.
Why not move the seals to Colorado? (I can't believe I thought of that before Trump even tweeted it. I'm sure Trump knows more about seals than anyone.)
