Regardless. Charity is not near enough to meet demands. Charity can't even make up for the drop in food stamps. When it comes to practical substantive policy to help the poor, conservatives run away and cheer when programs are cut.
we have had constant increase in govt give aways and we have a larger and seemingly worse of lower lower class.
if we turned off the govt and relied on charity perhaps families would need to have a man with a job around the house.
then society would be better off.
