Palin reduced here speech to 4 effective cues. Budget crossed out sort of reminds to her to say the budget cuts are bullshit.

The words are place holders. And a way to bring her back on focus if she gets on a roll in one of the other areas. I would say that having a few points she wants to hit is the sign of very effect public speaker.


Reducing your topics to bullet points is heck of lot more impressive than using a teleprompter.

By the way, the last thing I want is to see Palin run for president.

Her banter in that YouTube clip doesn't qualify as a speech and it wasn't impressive at all that she wrote notes on the palm of her hand. It was unprofessional and once again showed how unprepared and clueless she is.. I agree with you on not wanting Palin for president. Chuck Hagel is a republican I could vote for though.
