An increasing number of couples are living perfectly traditional lives – moving in together, starting families – all while saying “I don’t” when it comes to marriage. NBC’s Mara Schiavocampo reports and relationship therapist Argie Allen discusses the phenomenon.

You can thank the divorce courts for this "phenomenon".

Men get raked over the coals. They lose half their shit and have to pay some bitch half their earnings for the rest of their life or until she gets some other sucker to marry her. Throw in some kids and a guy ends up working just to pay 70% in alimony and child support.

Not to mention that when people get married they take each other for granted. They become fat and don't care.

Move in with your girl in a non-common law state. It's the same thing without the drawbacks.
