I think if we ended government run food inspection (remember, they screw up all that they do), Americans would (like Eight's suggestion to cut off unemployment so that Americans go find jobs) go out and do their own food inspection. This would reduce government SPENDING (as you put it) by millions.

Edit: to be fair, Eight did say "welfare".

Although this IS one of the few government service we actually need, yes they do screw this up too.
