Face book, Friday as pubs shut, rather than waste the beer the owner gave everyone free beer after the all pubs closed, got in the crap for it, thread face book, 20+ people slating him, all saying your going to kill us, do you not care, if anyone says calm down, 50+ posts OMG your going to kill us all talking like that, this is people in my home town, on a site where we have a joke it's none PC and there reduced to snivelling scared thinking there all dead freaks.

This is what the media is doing, getting normally okay ish low IQ people and turning them into dribbling fools that if they get any more scared will all top themselves rather than wait and damn see.

My mate of 40+ years, hates the media, but not left his house in 2weeks, no way to talk sense, thinks if he gets it, he's dead, claims to be intelligent, obviously isn't.

This is getting beyond a joke, this is world wide!!

I am starting to believe there must be a more sensible policy/strategy over blanket lockdown and quarantine everyone.

First, divide and conquer, quarantine all people at high risk, protect them from harm and let the low risk folks live life normally but separate them from the vulnerable..... Once all the strong get infected, they will have immunity and will not be carriers to infect the vulnerable. This way we make the problem more manageable and without all the disruption.

Trump needs to have a plan to convince all of us it is sensible to open up instead of wishful thinking and "wish" the problem away. He really cannot wing it anymore.

High risk will still get eventually, but it'll take a few years from the few around, which is the health service can cope with, if they live that long ofcourse.

Problem is the media have turned everyone into scared snow flakes, 20year old with a 0.00001% mortality rate are going crazy with fear and there making Boris and Trump by the sheer millions of them and PC do what they require and there all being controlled by the media.

UK Started off doing above plan, other countrys didn't back down and working fine still fully functional, Israel for instance.

Do not minimize the seriousness of this situation, or fail to prepare. This is very similar to Spanish flu that killed millions. I'm a UCLA grad with 2 degrees with 164 IQ, and 56 years of life experience.

I'm normally calm professional and easy going. But I recognize this as a fxcking mortal threat situation..... if not from virus, from violent panicked newly-released from prison guys or unemployed looters. This is genuinely serious.

The only hope is a vaccine or cure, fast. And even that's not guaranteed since it's a known RNA-mutating strain.

I'm generally right about many things, look at how correct my trading insights have been here, eg called mkt top January 24th, my only top call here in 14 years.

The main thing is stay housebound for at least 6 weeks and prepare. Ive got soup, snacks, 2glocks, a sig and 12ga.
And my 5-monitor trading rig.

Cuomo could have purchased the additional 16,000 needed ventilators for $36,000 apiece or a total of $576 million in 2015. It's a lot of money but less than the $750 million he threw away on a boondoggle "Buffalo Billion" solar panel factory. When it comes to state budget priorities, spending half a percent of the budget on ventilators is a no brainer.
