Moore

The story of the 14 year old in the Washington Post has also fallen apart with many inconsitencies. The other accusers in the Washington Post were above the age of consent.
Correct. The story is effectively over now.

Unless he drags out his resignation, Al Franken is going to wake up some day quite soon and find that he has been sucker punched.

There are a lot of congressmen in that undisclosed list of the reps who were the cause of payouts. They are not all going to be tossed. The parties need them too much so they will walk sideways like a crab and start staying they need to be investigated by the ethics committee and have a right to a process. So, then what? Al is back in Minnehaha thinking "WTF, you guys ganged up on me and drove me out and now you tell them they can hang around and work their cases."

If you saw Al's resignation comments on TV, you heard him basically do a mea culpa but also basically deny it "Some incidents did not happen, and others I remember differently." Well then, you owe it to yourself to stand up and defend yourself, your family, and those who supported you instead of being whiney puzzy. Otherwise, shut your piehole and get out.

I don't believe AL Franken's resignation was a real one. I believe that if Doug Jones is elected in Alabama, then he'll leave. If Roy Moore is elected, then he will stay.

Roy Moore is the future of the Republican Party for the foreseeable future.

You are just feeling cocky because Franken will probably stay and then he will return to being the face of the future for the dem party.

Might want to think that through a little.

I have traveled fairly widely and there is little doubt in my mind that the per capita incidence of poverty is higher in the U.S. than in any of the other advanced nations we compare ourselves to. There are two other areas where the U.S. lags the other advanced nations: Uniform access to affordable medical care and uniform access to high quality public education. Part of these problems stem from our being one country in some respects and 50 little countries in other respects.
Blatantly false in toto with no supporting sources at all. Anectdotal from your own mind.

Whats all this crap about Franken resigning in a few weeks? If Roy Moore wins, Franken aint going anywhere. Why would you resign in a few weeks anyway? If he wants to resign, it should be immediately.

Its all politics, all the time with these democrats.
I agree entirely.

Heh, as discussed, here we go with the old "let the process work" routine. Also known as "I aint going anywhere until we see how roy moore does and who all else is outed in the list of payouts and if they don't go, I ain't going."

As I said in earlier posts, Al will be getting into the "I was back home talking to the people who elected me and they want me to stay."

I am not unsympathetic to all of that, but the estrogen-based, weaseling around to get there is kind of nauseating. I would just prefer the flat out, FU you senate hacks, I was elected by the people and I will talk with them and let you know what we decide. Meanwhile you do what you gotta do and I will cooperate but I will not be driven out by mob rule.
