Moo Market On Open

Quote from Gueco:

they gave me the "right" price acording to ARCA, still 5 cents off the market

What do you mean by "off the market"?

Do you mean it was off by 5 cents from the last price printed during continuous trading?

or

Do you mean that NYSE ARCA is not the primary listing of that symbol and you see that the primary listing printed its own auction at a better price?

---What do you mean by "off the market"? ---yeah i was thinking about it too. maybe thre is few prints here and there right before ARCA post 'official open price'. which is Gueco fill price, but away from the market at that time

I mean it was trading at 80.15x80.16 at the time, it was not volatile.

not a few prints, the ask was below 80.17 for a long time

and my IB charts showed a last minute candle with a high below .20

Thank you for quick respond, but when TIF is OPG default exchange on my TWS is SMART. when i saved order as a basket file-it says SMART\ARCA(which is once again-doesn't sounds right to me)
when i called to IB's CS-they said-no changes necessary,SMART will take care everything,but i kinda doubt that.
tried to place OPG order on paper account-nothing really happened. order status was blue and order was canceled after stocks starts to trade after 9:30. no any sign that it was ever submitted anywhere

When you TRANSMIT the order, it is sent onto the native exchange by default. Simple.

the bid's and asks you see during the auction period reflect the interest for the auction, not the current bid and ask.
The price printed out of the primary listing auction is the market price. Depending on the imbalance that price may be off from the last print significantly...

NYSE stocks are notirious for printing the auction at out of wack prices... usually in favour of the specialist and his friends...
