Well, clown just put a target on every monument. If there was no reason for "antifa" to vandalize them, now doing so will be to protest fascism
I have not followed this thread completely but I hope that there is not a suggestion that the protesters have just removed/defaced confederate material such that Trump's comments are totally misplaced. This is definitely not true.
Viewers had to endure -for example- my full rant on how these fuckers defaced and damaged the statutes/mural of the 54th massachusetts regiment at the Boston Common. Those soldiers were clearly part of a union regiment and an all black regiment at that. Since then they have damaged/defaced countless union army commemorative sites.
I will say again and again, the lefties have people- including many here- duped into thinking that this is just an anti-confederate/racist movement. WRONG!!! This is a full cancel-culture movement. Anything related to the history of America is to be cancelled and replaced.
Next up in the movement: Assault upon and defacing/burning of churches. Already underway.

Good post. But I'm confused as to why everyone ignores the obvious reason this is happening. The crowds who attack symbols aren't equipped to know or interested in who the statues represent or what cause they may have been associated with.
The decision to destroy is strictly chromatic. Nothing more.
