Now keeping true to the topic of this thread "MoneyTec Forums: Abysmal, lowlife snakeoil standards", I'd like to present some of these standards.
I'm sure we have heard alot of this moderator named "SoulTrader", well, here are just a handful of his posts.
These next few are the ones he posted on the uncle Elliot thread which was the most popular on Moneytec. It seems that since the thread creator decided to get into training and signals, he entered into direct competition with SoulTrader. It would seem quite obvious (to anyone reading it) that SoulTrader's intention was to sabotage and close the thread so as to remove any competition. I don't think these comments are too surprising.

If you notice at the bottom, it mentions that it was " Last edited by soultrader : 16-10-2006 at 03:45."
What was edited out in this post were paedophilic comments made by SoulTrader. He did so twice and a few people expressed their disgust, however, these posts were deleted.
But anyway, there was really only one person in that thread that was consistantly disruptive and that was the alias "peteuk" aka "MickMason" aka "Henry-Hub" and a friend of SoulTrader's (assuming they are not the same person, but that's a BIG assumption!). So rather than deal with this one individual, SoulTrader instead decided to threaten the closure of the whole thread. Strange that!

I wonder why this was posted in public rather than private? Was it leading to something?
For some reason I thought moderator's were there to listen to complaints, otherwise, why be a moderator? Anyway, surfer mentioned that he only ever made two complaints on Moneytec, one for Henry-Hub who was banned a few hours later and the other for peteuk. Interestingly enough, once Henry was banned, surfer's thread returned back to normal without disruptions, but that was short lived because peteuk come along and continued where Henry left off (in the same style and everything). Very similar to MickMason's in fact. I can only assume that another moderator banned Henry but it didn't take SoulTrader long to unban that alias.
Well, the next post is SoulTrader's second last on this thread. It's on page 799, post 6386 http://www.moneytec.com/forums/f59/trading-eur-usd-uncle-elliot-closed-15582/page799.html (here is a snip)
Aha, it makes sense now! Yes of course, so many complaints (well all of two) need to be investigated properly and look at what it reveals! I have had the same IP address as surfer a total of 17 times. Wow, now after one/two years and a combined 1750 posts, we have had the same IP address a total of 17 times. Now that definitely proves it without a shadow of doubt! 17 times and we are the same person. I think we must have used our flying reindeer for the hundreds of other times our IP addresses were different!
But anyway, you would think that any suspicious moderator would simply just ask for clarification wouldn't you, instead of closing the most popular thread on Moneytec? Nah... that's obviously asking too much when you can just so easily cut the competition out!
Well anyway, we are now sadly at the last post of the thread written only one hour after Soul's second last post. I know he mentioned that "this thread will be closed after allowing a few hours for replies", but I don't really blame the poor chap for closing it so quickly. There were so many people defending surfer that he really had no choice. Read pages 799 and 800

and you can see that there are replies to posts that are no longer there. So many posts had to be deleted so it must have been too much hard work anyone accusing SoulTrader of being peteuk, well, they just had to be banned! He surely couldn't take a few more hours of that! Well surprisingly enough, peteuk had none of his posts deleted! Good team effort it seams.
I'll leave it there for now and I'll make some comments on that last post another day!
More to follow shortly.

now clean this thread up and start acting like adults rather than kids in a pissing contest as to who can predict the most swings (which as far as i can see is what the thread is).
otherwise i will have the immense pleasure of closing the thread and deleting the damn thing from the face of the planet.

FX Surfer, please stop sending complaints whining about people that don't agree with you.
frankly we the moderators are sick of hearing them.

FXsurfer, which bit of 'please stop the complaining' didn't you understand?
...
Now as i'm getting so many complaints I have to investigate fully which I have done so.
Firstly could you please explain to me why in this thread you answer yourself as pipmaster? - you both have used moneytec for a long time and both have identical IP addresses - this has not happened just the once but seventeen times. You are clearly the same person
...
Such underhand tricks are clearly the methods of a scam as as such this thread will be closed after allowing a few hours for replies.
