"Money Monster" Trailer (Yes another Wall Street Movie!)

Wonder if this is foreshawdowing what will actually happen to a cramer or another market prognosticator --during the next crash??

It's not entertaining at all for those in the biz and my bet is it will flop.

It's going to put some ideas out there for the anti-Cramer crowd.

Wall Street is the target of populist rhetoric on both sides these days and this seems to just feed the boogeyman even more with the "evil crooked empire" theme.

Exactly.

1-Clooney is a giant douche.
2-Script looks like it was stolen from Cadillac Man and just changed the backdrop from a car dealership to a Finance newsroom.
3- see #1... I won't pay a penny to see his movies

Clooney, Roberts, i thought i saw Sean Penn in there, too.

It's a beginning of the narrative. Brought to you by the occupywallstreet true believers. The narrative being that when the shit hits the fan, gov't and fed had nothing to do with it. It was Those Guys. Wall Street.

And then the people who created the chase for yield and return will display more 'courage' and promise to save the day and fix it for us.

It's all so predictable.

Certain elements , inclusive of actors in "Hollywood" view anything anti Wall Street as a leg up for demoncrats in this election year. Elections are about emotions, not logic, that train has long since left the station.

i think cramer is a POS (like so many other promoters) , here is one of the reasons i think needs reminding:

I can't stand him either. He is part of what's wrong with the image of Wall Street. If CNBC didn't have Leisman at the Fed, Santelli's occasional entertaining rant and a few good floor guys with an occasional bit of what's REALLY driving the markets down there - they would have nothing. The other 98% of the day stays on mute.
