Money can't buy happiness

Anyone in here want to tell me why they live life right now, and honestly tell me that deep down, it is not about money?

I'd seriously be interested in hearing that, particularly since all of us here are in a battle to make money every single day. We participate in the financial world, the money world. We don't play this game to give money away.

How can I justify Obiesity with money? Simple, we make money to stuff our faces. If we didn't have money, we wouldn't be stuffing our faces. Complete opposite of Africa, which has no money, and which people are dying.

I don't know, I seriously can't think about anything that we live for besides money and love.

Bill Gates left college to make money. He thought computers would be a great money making opprotunity.

Now he has money, and he isn't happy? BS, he is trying to have people feel pity for him.

If he doesn't want to be the richest man in the world, he has a VERY simple solution. Donate it all to charity. Send every person in the world a thousand dollar check. Do something. He has enough power that he doesn't have to be the richest man in the world anymore if he doesn't want to be.

So if he is complaining about himself being rich. Can anyone answer me why he just doesn't give his money away so he doesn't have to be rich?

I didn't think so.

Bill Gates wants us to feel pity for him so he can make more money :cool: Brilliant man..... He just didn't outsmart me on that one.

The only reason I sleep is because I want to stay healty so I can feel good so I can make money on monday.

That is the only reason we sleep. So we can have enough energy to work for our goal of making money.

How do I justify my last few posts? I dunno, probably to make other people make money so that I can make money too. :cool:



Okay, so my eSignal posts might be over the top with my rage of eSignal.

But c'mon, the last three posts were just quality and made up for anything stupid I have said in the past 800 or so posts I have made at ET.
 
Enough money and good health with peace of mind is the best combination. Have some hobbies and unconditional friends, nice cottage by the fresh water and maintain healthy creativity of mind. And ofcourse, ability to go into long meditations to communicate with the Allmighty!

I have to say that depth of your thoughts and conclusions is very impressive.

Unfortunately fight for money has replaced fight for fire/hunting area/food ...etc. and at present stage of development of human kind we just have to accept this.

Majority of any human society consists of simple, little people who would not understand what you are trying to tell them, but money - yes ! Easy and simple concept.

The problem you are talking about is that those simple people who made that money want to rule everybody, including me and you without asking whether we want to follow their priorities or not. But this is another side of human nature and opposition to it makes this world running.
 
Hogwash. philosophers, intellectuals academia all have ideas on this subject. Stupid people (mainly Americans) have sometimes a little problem grasping subtleties of this. Incidentally all the assholes on ET who are "ra-ra rich boys" and big swinging dick traders, likely live in their parents basement and scalp small lots on Oanda. pathetic losers!

Problem is, money buys everything.

If you spend money in anyway, you have just bought comfort, and happiness and security.

If you buy a house, and you feel happy, you have bought happiness.

If you fall in love with some hot girl, you better believe she thinks you are financially secure to support her. It's not a perfect world like we all think.

In America, money buys happiness. Not in Africa or other very poor countries. But here in the USA, money is what makes us happy.

If you got money and you are depressed, it is because you are rich and no one likes you because they are jealous over you. Give all your money away and move to Virginia :D
 
I've read a study about drug usage in the Western World. Incidentally lot of drug use is in the higher economic sphere. Of course we are talking about the expensive drugs for the rich -none of the cheap crack coke for the blue blood only the purest cocaine!
So, according to the simpletons who actually believe money alone will solve their life's problems the rich should not take drugs as an escape from reality since their life is so filled with bliss. On the contrary mon ami. They drink, abuse drugs and live destructive lives even more so than the poor. Just look at the rich Hollywood types, their crowd is a talking volume of the one-dimensional thinking some exhibit on this forum.
