In five minutes my time (Eastern Time), it will be 9/11. Approximately 9 hours from now a year ago, the first plane would have hit one of our towers.

Please be aware that all exchanges will be observing a moment of silence.

I would ask fellow traders and paper-traders to please participate in this moment of silence (Globex participants as well) to honor our beloved Americans who died on this date.

If you are not an American, I would ask that you also observe a moment of silence for the atrocity that stuck our nation on this date.

May this day pass uneventfully.
