Any value here ?
Does this replace the Commodities Magazine I used to get ?

It's the old Futures Magazine. It's a nice publication with charts, analysis and interviews but also includes such as whiskey and music reviews.

I remember reading that magazine back in 2004/2005 while working at Home Depot...and it made me the beautiful trader I am today,

Oh yeah.....there were some great articles in Trader....about the individuals, not the techniques.

No, Modern Trader focuses on the retail trader. It contains a lot of articles covering very basic market mechanics and trading strategies, along with ads for luxury items that probably make the readers feel special.

The publications focused on pro traders are the institutional magazines (hedgeWeek, HFMWeek). They cover industry news stories, not trading mechanics.

There are some specialized publications and blogs for specific commodity markets (metals, energies) that are very good. But not an all-in-one.
