Well, I received my Asus Zenbook mentioned above and the difference between the Lenovo is like night and day.
Maybe it's partly habit due to having a Zenbook in the past, but I find that the keypad is much better.
Noise fan? It's virtually non-existent.
The design is also very nice.
In terms of performance, it also beats the Lenovo.
As I was satisfied with my old Asus I should just have sticked with Asus, but in my mind and from what others said, I thought the Lenovo would be another step up in quality and performance. It seems like I was wrong about that.
Now I only need to see what kind of screen I'll choose. The larger, the better, but ideally something I could carry with ease. I was thinking 14", but perhaps I'll see if I can find a 17".
