This is all social engineering. They will find a cure, then the virus would become a distance memory, life will go on as it is, until it's back at it again, 2030. That idiotic fuck is using fear to his and his owners potential.

p.s. they already have the cure to cancer and every disease. but why reveal something that can make an industry bankrupt? they will find this cure as well, they will markup their accounts with their multiple zeros, drop the dollar, then china will follow, and then every country will drop U.S reserves in a quicky. just sayin'
 
I can see a large unemployment number coming. Because everyone is shit scared of a virus that a majority of the people in this country have already, and just do not know it.

Once they get tested for the sniffles, they will be on major lockdown, no work, boo hoo, I am sick, I cannot work, gimme my money so I don't die while I use the money to buy Hostes Ho-Hos™ while I sit on my fat ass and suck the gubment teat.

This country lost it's balls, long long ago.

Unemployment comes from people who file for unemployment, after they have a valid reason to do so. People who quit their jobs because they are scared of a bug do not qualify. But sooo many people are gonna' get layed off on this thing, because their bosses don't want the liability of the bug. It's a horrible scene incoming.

People are getting laid off as we speak, actually. SAS, for example, laid off 90% of their workforce.
 
I don't think it's unreasonable. I'd guess closer to 35% if it peaks. But I doubt that would last long. I'm considering a worst case scenario in a national quarantine. 20% is probably reasonable.

Go ahead and crunch the numbers. Majority of people I see getting laid off are staff at restaurants, hotels, etc. Airlines are next. Outside of utilities service is the #1 employment sector for people in America. They occupy close to 1/3 of all jobs in America, so if you say 90% of them are laid off, plus some offices that won't go remote, plus some other random jobs here or there 30-35% is not exactly off base in a total disaster. 90% layoff isn't even unreasonable if your state is shutting down all service industries and telling the businesses good luck.

Hate to break it to you champ but vaccines aren't cures. At best they reduce the effectiveness of the disease. Also hate to break it to you again, but a viable vaccine even if it's slammed through skipping ALL FDA approval will be 8-12 months out. It's just not simple to isolate the chunks of the genome that don't repeat and target it. We don't even know how effective a vaccine would be. It seems to be possibly recurrent, and there are cases in Japan and China of people catching it again from someone else weeks after recovering. This suggests the virus is mutating so quickly our immune systems can't build a reliable defense network for it. Given it's mutation ability so far a vaccine could be even further out. I'm not a biochemist (I have a rudimentary knowledge of this from bioinformatics) but I'd imagine if a pandemic is in full swing the virus will mutate so quickly it would be almost impossible to nail down a deactivated/analog virus to train the immune system for the next wave. We see this on a smaller scale with influenza but we can get a new vaccine out because it doesn't mutate nearly as quickly.

We are experiencing this with the testing now. Tests are being rushed out with huge false negative and false positive rates. We are probably months from pinpoint accurate tests on the same playing field as the rapid strep tests.

Cut the conspiracy theories. Your quote on cancer is absolute trite bullshit. If there really was a grand global conspiracy to not release cures why would they release monoclonal antibody drugs and genetic treatment for cancer? Your supposition is pants on head retarded.

Your naivety is insulting to the hard working doctors and nurses trying to stop this thing. Now go put on your dunce cap and sit in a corner.

Actually, if the state mandates closures, people gonna be laid off. No business, no jobs. Nothing to do with the liability.
