mlm guru doug Allen thread closed. Why?

Allow doug to put your mind at rest CT.

After he selects you from one of the more than 400 applications you have submitted to him, you are off to Patty school at doug's expense.

Kalifornia should be lovely at this time of year.

ps. Just a thought, but I wonder if Patty knows of doug's existence.

I cannot tell a lie, I did make an absolute multitude of applications all with different proliles and responses, I figured if I chuck enough darts one is bound to find the board.

I would welcome the opportunity to holiday in The Golden State and meet Potty all-expenses-paid courtesy of Doug, but in person rather than remotely!

Well, here we are. You found us. When would you like to actually get started? I would imagine that funds sitting idle suffer some type of opportunity cost. Markets are setting up for a mid-term lasting bottom / double bottom sequence event and will rally strong for some period of time following that. Would you like your money to participate in this pending event?

Doug, you now have 90+ posts and literally 1,000s of words collectively inside them. That took awhile to think, compose, type and send. If you want to be efficient with your time as a professional, I'd respectfully suggest you stop posting right now and start the personal contact - interview process.

You met your self-assigned cutoff quota of applicants. There is no need to banter with naysayers here in this forum any longer... mission accomplished. No need to feed the aweber automailer, because you've gathered the masses sought. One more post here is nothing but a waste of time and errant rabbit trail for you. If managed money is what you seek, it's nigh time to begin.

Markets are challenging right now, but opportunity exists. If we had $100k of yours at work and were turning 5-lot ES contracts yesterday, the cumulative result would have been +3% return on account. A couple less twists and turns in the tape might have seen +6% to +10% returns. Some days will win, some will lose. That's trading. Overall I think we can push forward to significant gains by year's end. But before that happens, you must quit phase one which was posting here and shift into phase two: your selective process.

We enjoyed your time in ET, thank you for the participation. We all understand that a professional money manager no longer has time to be here with wasted words. Those of us sensible enough to accept your offer will see you in phase two. Looking forward to it :)

With a 100k account you would probably trade more than 5 lots in the ES right ? I would think 10-20 lot positions would give ya a shot of making some good money , if one was a good trader and had proper money mgmt skills.

As far as Doug. No real risks here. He picks a few people to back. He gives them POA on his account to trade. He offers them free counseling with this Patty person if they want it. They trade his account. After a month the person is up and they get paid out their cut.

Worst case scenarios:

He says you must pay for counseling.....you say no and adios.

He doesnt pay you your cut after 1st month......you leave and say adios.

Your loss = some time spent pursuing this.

I am not endorsing him, because I dont know a thing about him. But it is possible he is some guy looking to back traders and came to a trading website. Really no different than someone placing an ad on monster.com or on a website that lists jobs in the financial community. I would think once he finds a few people to back he will do a serious background check and ask for trading records before he moves forward.

I am all for busting balls on the scammers on here (Alex...Timmay...etc). But in my opinion this guy hasn't crossed the line yet to scammerville. Could he be a scammer...sure.

Not sure how long most of ya have been trading, but I got my first trading job with one of the biggest prop firms back in 1992 through an ad in the NY Times help wanted. Then got my next job years later with a CTA who also put an ad in the NY Times. So it is possible that people go looking for traders in public areas like this.

Anyways....my 2 cents.

Yes, but opm with conservative risk would be -$500 initial stop on 5-lot ES the style I trade (-2pt initial stop) or -1/2% of equity risked per trade.

Everything is negotiable, just using a rather conservative example there. If for example Friday afternoon still had an open gap and untouched pivot point going into the closing bell, I'd have been personal-account margined to $1,000 per contract scaled-in up on the long side while it was squeezing up. Certain situations offer extremely high-odds scenario, but fiscal prudence always adheres to the ddoc specs of opm operation.

I agree... have said that all along. Doug placed his ad, got more than his self-imposed limit of applicants, now done posting in this forum. Next comes the filtration & sorting process to settle on who his traders will be. So far, so good. Doug's work is all finished here, now we move on to the next stage of his process.

Austin, would you puhleez learn how to use the quote button?? Makes for much greater clarity as to who said what. Thanks.

While his URLs are a bit hokey, Doug Allen seems to be legit. I won't say how or where I came about the info.

I would take the guy at his word.
