Your view is UNBELIEVABLY naive and shortsighted, Doug. It's clear that you know nothing about trading and people's behavior besides a few marketing gimicks. Yes, in the beginning people would trade responsibly like you are saying. Ultimately that kind of setup will lead to ruin. Mark my words and if by any chance you're legit save your money.You are very subtly trying to ridicule people here but you answer people's concerns very selectively. You have only answered one concern from my post and all of them were very serious. From your emotionally charged response I can only guess that I have struck a chord.
Trading is a great profession. I loved trading, and especially trading OPM.
I also love being at the next level, which is paying other people who are great at what they do to make money for me.
Think about it....
If you and just one buddy had different strategies and decided to share your gains and losses proportionally, you'd likely smooth out your equity curves. Now just extend this to having 7 or 8 traders sharing gains and losses.
It's really a very simple and effective model.
Maybe. My guess, one of the reasons people trade on their own, is the desire to NOT work for others. The last thing I would want to hear is someone asking me "why did you make that trade?", "why did you hold on to that trade?",etc. Hence, I trade only my own money.

Like I said to Sushi, if this trading gig of yours doesn't pan out you should think about being a detective or something....lol.
It's really getting funny how some people think my website sucks and people like you think I'm some marketing genius....

And yes I know that there are big time hedge fund managers here. And as for the academics, who cares what they think??? I'm sure they could publish 27 white papers on why everything I've ever accomplished in life shouldn't have worked.
Now the traders are who I'm interested in getting to know. Good traders who are also good people. I guess I should have prefaced my original offer with something about "must be somebody who I like and isn't a jerk." It might have weeded out a few of the 1% who spend their time here pounding their chests about how superior they are to everybody else.
I've never met a good trader whose ego did not disappear when it comes to trading. Those with the biggest egos are most susceptible to making bad decisions because they have a need, almost an obsession, to feel smarter than everybody else or to feel they're right.
There are those who spend their lives pointing out why things won't work, and there are others who make things work. I guess it just depends on which group you see yourself in.
What I meant was the content of your posts, and the intelligent thought behind them, distinguishes you from others who seemingly have little to offer in the way of intelligent input. For some reason people seemed to jump down your throat just because you said something along the lines of "time will tell". It seems there's a small minority here who has too much time on their hands and too few ways to meet their emotional needs outside of internet forums. You don't seem to be one of those people.
Of course if I ever need somebody to do detective work for me, checking out Google street views of UPS stores, I know where to find them.

Maybe this will help....
From my standpoint, I would NEVER question what a trader is doing. The whole process of finding a trader is to fit their historic equity curve into the overall portfolio/allocation. Ok, I take that back. I would question a trader if he or she started trading in a way that was different from how they produced their historical returns. Or I would reevaluate the allocation if the expected drawdown was exceeded.
So it's not really like working for somebody else. It's just moving more money on each trade.
And what I've found from my experience is that most people start trading because they want financial freedom. Another thing a lot of traders want is to learn how to scale their trading in a way to make more money by making the same trades. Trading OPM is a no-risk, unlimited upside way to scale a trading strategy if you're a good trader.
People who are really serious about being successful and taking things to the next level could probably learn how to emotionally deal with little questions like, "why did you make that trade," don't you think? I mean if that's all that's stopping you from possibly making millions trading OPM it seems like a lame reason. And I say that with respect and not disdain.
And to answer your question, I am not promoting anything. I continued this thread because the previous thread got shut down when a small minority of wannabe CSI detectives thought they discovered I was some mlm marketing dude. I wanted to set the record straight on that.
And when they started insulting the people who wanted to learn more about my offer, calling them "dumb asses" and such, I was a little irritated. I read all the applications and just about everybody who completed the questionnaire seems like a genuinely nice person, sincere in their desire to better themselves. I'm not sure they're all great traders, but it seems like for the most part they're great people. I want to honor and respect them for taking a tiny leap of faith to explore what I have to offer.
Now here's a question that maybe you can help me with.... why did so many people who apparently don't believe I'm legitimate become so obsessed with this thread? If you ask me why I keep posting here, why not ask them why they even posted here to begin with?
