of him not to give you portion of profits you earn and chase away profitable traders.

A person's beliefs sometimes betray them. The gentleman that funded me originally had no web site, and he came across as just an ordinary older gentleman. It wasn't until I met him at his summer home in the Adirondack's that had a 4-boat garage that I realized he was for real.

As for what's posted on the internet, I've been through this before... once a number and address goes online you will get flooded with calls and mail, along with people showing up at your door. If you doubt this, why not post your real name, address, and phone number in a reply to this.

What's interesting to me is that I am one of the few people here that's ever posted my real name and photo, and yet somehow for those who hide behind aliases that doesn't seem to be enough.

And if you know anything about hedge funds you'll understand that hedge funds are not permitted to do any public advertising. People who invest with me don't invest large chunks of money because somebody paid a web designer from Romania $1500 to make a "corporate" looking site with pics from iStockphoto. If anything if I were really a scam artist I would have set up a pretty web site just to give the impression I was something that I'm not.

What you see is what you get. I'm not trying to hide anything, and I'm not trying to be something I'm not.

So let's turn the tables...

Why don't you have a website with your photo and bio, and your trading results, so that you can attract OPM and leverage your skills into a multi-million dollar income? Do you already make enough money? Do you have a problem trading OPM?

Why aren't you trying to leverage yourself into making 10 times the money you're making trading your own account?

Let's make believe that you are legit for a sec....any sane person who was GIVING AWAY MONEY FOR FREE would have told all of ET to go fuck themselves after the shit we put you through [unless you are a glutton for punishment], and tried greener pastures somewhere else.....

let's see the facts. This doug Allen claims not to be the mlm guru doug Allen all over the Internet. It is possible that they were seperated at birth and they are indeed different people who look move and talk the same way. Let's assume they are different and this doug Allen isn't the same as the Internet marketer doug Allen. Maybe he goes want to "stake" you with cash. Facts are it won't be very much and it's highly unlikely you will double it to make 20% of 20% worthwhile. But that's assuming a lot. I stand by the original thought that he us a highly skilled marketing person with another agenda. Maybe to write a book on this to sell a course? It's more than meets the eye. The old rolls and copy oil painting in the video are give aways that this doug Allen is a persona of something else.

In which case that'll come to light real soon. Forget about ET... the collective group of people here are no smarter or wiser than any other random group of people elsewhere. Or sane, for that matter but I digress again. 100 people invited to an electronic Amway meeting when expecting to talk managed money are not signing up for anything. Doug is either serious about managed money agenda or about to be seriously disappointed in a different agenda, one or the other.

I agree 1000%. For the people who think that their is not a alternative motive think again. I worked with hedge fund managers for 5yrs before I got into trading. There is NO way a legit manager would even act in this manner. They don't have all of this time to chat with ET fools. Just think logically people...

Yes great pity in my opinion scaring doug off before he could complete his mission.

I was thoroughly enjoying the thread.
Now I will have to buy a new book or take up knitting for some fun.

Some of the more aggressive guys here need to learn to play the fish more gently and not tear the hook from his mouth with brute strength. You have given poor old doug a dreadful fright.

doug came here with a mission. Not the crusade he pretended to offer, but an underlying mission.
And now you have scared the poor bugger away forever.

I suppose two or three hundred ETers could wander over to doug's site and drown him with seven or eight hundred applications but that is hardly going to fill the vacuum left in my entertainment programme.

Next time a dougscammer arrives within our midst, please please offer the bugger some cheese and lure him in before you hit him over the head with a big stick.
We need to milk more mileage out of the old dougs of this world.

Who said anyone involved doesn't have some measure of reserve in their minds? Is there anyone who blindly believes 100% that no other agenda exists? Doug asked for a chance to present his agenda to anyone willing to listen. I hope no one thinks that includes a group of wide-eyed, naivete listeners on the pending conference call. Far from it.

Objective means neutral and sensible without prejudgement. Neutral means convinced by facts, not blind fear or pie-sky sales pitches on either end of the emotional bell curve.
 
Just thinking about DA's video withhimself driving in the Roller and then walking out onto the Jetty. While on the Jetty, he mentions a trading coach; Paddy. He says that no matter whether you are successful trader or not ;Paddy would benefit you in the coaching she gives.

My guess is that to get some funds to manage, first you would have to sign up and pay for Paddy. While the idea of those "elusive funds" to manage will be continually dangled in front of you as bait to sign up and pay for more coaching.

Initially i thought Doug Allen was a phony, then i started to have my doubts and second guess my first opinion. Now i am totally convinced he is a phony. He is not doing anything illegal, but he is misrepresenting himself.

Doug, you are very good at what you do.

Could be. A lot of things could be. Here's what I know for sure: the offer of chance to manage opm with no strings attached without exception will be received well. Any other offers or continengies will be received poorly. Very poorly.

That's all the time & thought I have until hearing the details explained. Back-burnered issue until then.
