Deaddog...that's an MLM trick...it would have been suicidal had Doug offered a "paid" coaching session......the first session is always free...that's a sales trick....but I ask you....Do you think Patti will continue to offer free coaching sessions out of the generosity of her heart?

I am no longer there. I have moved to another location - a brand new office in Mississauga. But the original office is still operational. Things are tough as everywhere else, but we are doing our best to make a few bucks. Thank you for asking.

You'll have plenty of fun poking the scammer. You can maybe even sign up with some bogus info and keep asking stupid irritating questions while you promise him to sign up several of your friends for his remote viewing training!!!! Play his own scam on him.

It's like the late night infomercials. I agree with Maestro that it makes no sense to respond to this thread until someone comes back with his/her experiences but you can bet that Doug will keep it going anyway by creating new profiles and ask himself questions to keep this thread alive. Maybe he will even come back with some bogus posters who will claim that they are trading million dollar accounts for him.
One thing is certain if he is legit then he is doing absolutely TERRIBLE job presenting and marketing his fund.
His refusal to provide office address or a phone number is a BIG WARNING sign of a scam - no matter what reasons he's giving.

Of course Patty's first couple of trainig sessions are free. But so is your first month when you subscribe to esignal. The "candidates" no doubt will be baited all the way along with the lure of money to manage, but all they will need to do is sign up for and pay for Phase 2 and then Phase 3 and so on of Patty's courses. " What's a mere $xxx.xx for this whole new world that Patty is going to help you fine tune when you will eventually be managing a chunky fund and earning all those managment and performance fees."

I have no doubt that initially the candidates will not have to pay for her course, but its the next one and one there after that will cost them big.

I think what Doug needs to clarify is that he will pay for all the start up expenses, including ALL of Paddy's fees and he must be prepared to pay for them up front and not expect the "candidates" to pay for it initially under the pretext that they will get credited it back with a bigger share of the Management and performance fees as decided initially under the agreement.

Notice how cleverly he started talking about charging people for his remote viewing training by telling them that he won't be charging them. Priceless!!!

This is an idea I am still trying to get my brain around. I'm not sure I understand the fun part, as it all sounds a bit mean-spirited to me.

Doug has given us a lot to be skeptical about for sure, beginning with the OP. But I have yet to see any solid evidence of scam or bs. I think skepticism is a good thing, especially for a trader. But I am amazed at how people seem to accept an idea (e.g. that Doug is the MLM guru from Texas) on so little real evidence.

But what mystifies me the most about the overall tone of this thread and its predecessor is the mob mentality in piling on. People keep professing that they're just raising a hue and cry about a potential scam for the overall good, but there's clearly more than that going on. It looks to me like this discussion has been taken over by sort of groupthink that could be the kiss of death in a trading environment.

I don't know what Doug is really up to. I'm sure I will be the last to figure it out .. I always am. But so what? I learned years ago not to take it as an insult to be called naive.
