no seriously thats why stats dont mean a thing, only when it comes to payday....but to us it is all in the grey. Where would Malone's scoring be without Stockton ( better or worse ) ..Or should I say Stockton's assists be without Malone.....Or Kobe's dominance without shaqster....All in all MJ made his team better players ( forget about stats, Im talking pure heart and talent that overflowed into his teamates playing ) ......when it comes to basketball it is all about the team...Maybe we should be asking which is the best team of all time but then you have the Celtics of the past that didnt have competition.....who is the best team of all time taking era into consideration??? 1. L.A. Lakers' 33-game winning streak (Nov. 5, 1971 to Jan. 7, 1972) That's close to half a season, while zipping back-and-forth from coast-to-coast. Next best is 20 by Washington Bullets (March 13 to Dec. 4, 1948 -- five games during 1947-48 season, 15 games during 1948-49 season) and Milwaukee Bucks (Feb. 6 to March 8, 1971).

I dont think a streak makes a team the best.....it would have to be rings, but then we have the celtics as i mentioned earlier....peace

....I think the Laker's in the mid 80's had the best overall mix of TALENT and ROLE players......You had Kareem and magic ( arguably the greatest center and point guard ever to lace them up) but you also had Worthy ( who if he played in NY would be in the hall of fame)...You also had back up guys like Cooper and Michael Thompson and Bob McDoo who all played their roles unselfishly...Coope was a defensive force....Throw in Jammal Wilkes and Rambis and you have an incredible team that had players that all knew their role.
