When Trump was elected I thought you guys would be happy for 4 years.Y'all seem as miserable as ever
Antifa is Anti-Fascist. A response to fascism. Circa 1920, fascists appeared and 1920/21 anti-fascists. No fascists, no anti-fascists.
We are supposed to want to utterly crush and destroy fascists. The entire of the West has had that baked into the bones of it's children since WWII. Socialism is a matter of opinion and definition, fascism? nope, that's loathed across the West. Would I take extreme measures to protect my family from fascism? in a heartbeat. That is how I and hundreds of millions of others were programmed as children.
The amazing thing is they are given even this much rope. They have hung on by being on the fringe so far. It is a short step to far more groups being outlawed as domestic terrorist organisations. Poof, no 'antifa'.

If Trump had held to his campaign promises, we probably would have. The difference is that you'll see how we go after our own when they violate the principles we believe in - and it is the principles, not the person, we support.
You folks on the left won't criticize someone on the left no matter what. For you , party is more important than principle, and that's sad. Because if you focused more on principle instead of going after people who simply aren't on your side, we might find we had more in common than we had originally thought.
