Mitt Romney Sent Millions to Mormon Church

Quote from RCG Trader:

Lucrum, if you hurry, you can vote in South Carolina's primaries. :)

Since the Republicans have taken over and the Democrats have left office there has been a migration of Blacks back to the South

Why We're Moving Back South
For black Northerners, the reverse migration makes economic -- and emotional -- sense.

If you need a new metaphor for a hostile racist location pick any Northern urban Democratic controlled city.

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

...Mitt Romney Sent Millions to Mormon Church...
You can't blame the guy. I think it's part of the creed. They're supposed to give 10% of their income to the church. And if they don't they get a 3 A.M. reminder phone call, "You gotta give More, Man!" Where do you think the name "Mormon" came from?

"I believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute -- where no Catholic prelate would tell the President (should he be a Catholic) how to act and no Protestant minister would tell his parishioners for whom to vote -- where no church or church school is granted any public funds or political preference -- and where no man is denied public office merely because his religion differs from the President who might appoint him or the people who might elect him."

"I believe in an America that is officially neither Catholic, Protestant nor Jewish -- where no public official either requests or accepts instructions on public policy from the Pope, the National Council of Churches or any other ecclesiastical source -- where no religious body seeks to impose its will directly or indirectly upon the general populace or the public acts of its officials -- and where religious liberty is so indivisible that an act against one church is treated as an act against all."

Taken from a speech given by JFK during the 1960 campaign. While I am no fan of Romney, his religious affiliation is of no matter to me, nor should it be to any American that believes in our constitution. It is also of no concern to me where he spends/donates his money, what his tax rate is, or how much cash the guy has in general. What is of concern to me is his inability to take a stand and not shift the first time the political wind blows in a different direction. For that reason he will not get my vote.

I agree with you. However, as we both know, if anyone, it will be the religious who will hold Romney's religion against him. I imagine it's a spiritual thing.
