The non-vet thing brings up interesting questions though. Should the president be a veteran? On the one hand I say yes. He should have military experience in order to be commander in chief. OTOH, a non-vet seems less likely to be a war monger. A rational person with good problem solving skills and a good secretary of defense fits the bill in my mind.

I disagree! George Bush is a non-vet and he's a war mongering S.O.B. Those with actual combat experience are less likely to enter a war on a whim.
As to the polygamy issue I'm with you 100%. It means nothing!
Romney is a Used Car Salesman, Carnival Barker, telemarketing slug that we all love to hate. He has no chance as most people see right through his bullshit.

It'll damn near kill most of you conservatives to read Frank Rich I know, but he's a solid political analyst. Last week he did a great piece on Obama debunking the Hillary is inevitable consensus. The common theme in that article, and the one above, is the underappreciated and emergent disgust factor many voters IN BOTH PARTIES have for their frontrunning candidates.
