Missing human contact

I posted another related thread about boredom.
Now I have another issue being a day trader for 1- years, and full time for a little over a year.
I used to work for a company with 1000 employees and I had a chance to see quiet a few people every day and different one due to the nature of my job, an IT specialist.
Now being alone a home, I miss the human interaction, especially during the trading hours.
What do you guys/gals do for that?
The only idea I got so far is to go and pay for a desk in a co-working company. But not sure if I want to pay $400-450/mo.

join a sports club, associations, and all the organizations that interest you.
The advantage of trading is you can get to choose who you want to interact with.
I have learned the hard way that there are people you absolutely do not want
in your environment.

I agree. We, the traders have some advantages.:)
 
Rent an office. I'm sure it will help you as a trader as well.

I was in isolation for years while pursuing trading and I seriously disliked it. Being on my own was glorious at first, but eventually it started to become a problem.

I'm still a loner and a lone wolf, but I very much enjoy being out of the house and at least seeing people. I have no desire to constantly interact with people and I like being on my own, but it's cool to be surrounded by beautiful women and have the opportunity for small talk when I feel like it.

I believe every heterosexual man should be around women on a daily basis. If not interacting with them, at least seeing them and being in their presence.
 
It looks like you went to an extreme : complete isolation.
This obviously build psychological vulnerability.
You MIGHT start visiting museums and particularly paintings museum
and other type of artistic displays, as well as taking long distance mountaining:
this will help you build some psychological strength when it comes
to plastics. :D

Get a wife/ girlfriend. You can't shut them up and they assume that "working" out of the house means you are available to listen to every one of their stories about their friends and all their problems. After years of this you will pray for the solitude you once had and you will learn to function completely independent of the relentless stories that are assaulting your ears. You will even start nodding subconsciously at the appropriate time (always an up and down agreement nod not a side to side disagreement nod). In fact as I am typing this part of me is nodding to what a jerk the neighbor's husband is because he told his wife she has put on some weight. YOU WILL NEVER BE ALONE AGAIN! :)

Well, I am a woman, but I have to agree with you. Most women are like you said. :)
