He dropped the ball alright, as did others, but that's not the logic. The logic is, what's good for the left is now good for the right. If whatever happened on the Bush watch was on him, then anything that's happening after 1/20/09 is on the new guy, and all things leading to current events are completely irrelevant. From a legal and secular perspective, marriage has nothing to do with religion as there is no check on any religion when someone gets a marriage license and gets married.
The ban against marriage is discriminatory on the basis of gender and sexual preference, therefore the ban on gay marriage is unconstitutional...
I hope you are still alive when gay marriage becomes legal in America for everyone, just like abortion became legal, as we place the freedom of choice above the religious fanatics who don't want really and genuinely want a secular state...
