Minority Babies Almost the Majority

Quote from Lucrum:

Apparently he doesn't like the answers

When he tries to compare a country of 7 million to a country of 300 million, tries to refute that CA has the most fortune 500 companies by saying well Atlanta has more then any city in CA even though CA has 4'xs more then GA and argues that CA has a bad real estate market to counter the fact that CA still has 5 of the 10 most expensive housing markets in the US its true I don't like those answers and have no interest in going through that with the million questions he asks

Quote from Artful D0dger:

No, it's not. There are two major racial/ethnic groups: black and white. Atlanta is also highly segregated. Outside of blacks and whites, which comprise over 90% of the city, other ethnic groups are myopic minorities. That's not very diverse, as far as large cities go. LA is diverse, Detroit is diverse, Miami is diverse, Houston is diverse. So are you trying to compare cities, states, or countries now?

I was wrong about the demographics of Atlanta.LA and Houston are great cities and are diverse as you stated

I started with states, you brought up cities. But the point is the same most of the countries greatest cites are diverse... LA,Houston,New York

This might be hard to follow for you: If a country of 7 million has more diversity, by percentage, than a country of 300 million, it means that the country of 300 million of more instances of homogeneity, or "non" diversity. Maybe that means USA is the best country, or whatever you said before, because of the parts that are NOT diverse.

You missed his point that California should have more than 4x more Fortune 500 companies than Georgia. However, did you ever think about examining the diversity within these Fortune 500 companies before proclaiming that they can be used to prove your point that diversity is good?

All of those 5 markets in california also happen to be predominantly one race.

I've lived here for about 20 years and the only thing going for California these days is the weather.

Here's the California highlight reel: Second highest unemployment in the country, 3rd worst schools in the nation, 4th worst roads in the country, 7th highest per-capita taxes in the country; and, last but not least, the major cities are so massively in debt that half of them are on the verge of bankruptcy.

This bleak picture hasn't been lost on businesses. They're leaving California at record rates.

California is a beautiful place geographically speaking, certainly. However, it's got terrible social metrics...

Now here's my chance to make my response as shallow as yours: LOL some Mexicans and black people mopping up the store counts as a Fortune 500 company being diverse in a meaningful way.
