dont forget S&P companies profits have been rising double digits for the past few years, while average worker wages have been largely stagnant (especially adjusted for inflation).
I'm not saying that the S&P companies shouldn't win, but more a question of how much. If left to their own devices, I don't think S&P companies are concerned about the working man's wage.
