Milton Friedman dies

his book--"free to choose" was required reading in my first econonomics class.

he has had a profound influence on the way i view the world.

he will be missed.

I was lucky enough to sit in on his Price Theory classes in his last year of teaching, the same quarter that he won his Nobel, and he autographed my copy of his book, Price Theory, for me.

It was his classical liberalism that influenced my thinking the most then and still does to this day. Unfortunately it doesn't influence too many politicians.

P.S. He wasn't religious.
