Millions made, much of the world seen, what now?

Congrats on where you are in your life, a dream for many!

I hope to get there by the same age you are now. Then my son would be in his 20's so he doesn't need me that much anymore ;)

My ultimate dream would be buying a catamaran and start sailing the mediterranean and then later on the rest of the world.

Learning an instrument also can be quite challenging and fun!

Personally I think the fun is the important part though one has to make it fun. We drive ourselves more doing thing we enjoy, into and past near madness sometimes :) But there are days when some parts of trading are torture until things click and bad days disappear. As a sailor you might like this tale.

So much construction noise around here the past week I'm beginning to wish I was in space..

It gets worse.

Neither does Callas for the first two minutes of this. Not easy to be the centre of focus like that, well done Maria.

Her ex-husband, Verona (It) born, opened and managed this beautiful place in the early 2000s, many years after their split and her death - yes, it was just a restaurant, thought to be in her honor, named "Maria Callas", very close to the Arena of Verona (Italy), https://www.arena.it/arena/en
which is slowly becoming an opera leader for the summers in North Italy. And if it is not yet for the quality of representation it is capturing for sure for the magic of the Ancient Roma's Arena itself and installations.
Year by year it is rising, so the place for the restaurant's prosperous business looked to be proper... and the plates were accurate and cured with perfect style........ but still .. do you eat preferring style to the love which was supposed to be put in during the preparation of your dish? - All of that carried name MC... and lacked Love, and she was being of Love.
It looks like the restaurant is closed now?
Was somebody there recently, ? https://www.google.bs/search?q=mari...cAhVPmuAKHYh5DgkQsAR6BAgFEAE&biw=1744&bih=922

I really want to go to Italy now. :)

They say people average 12 "perfect" days in their lives. One of mine finished in a restaurant where Andrea Bocelli was eating after a concert in Rome. He and a girl sang just a little together, almost a rehearsal really. The atmosphere, the restaurant and food will never leave me.

Interesting relatively new 2015 video for his album Cinema, the old Gladiator song.

Yes... I can immagine. Thank you for the video! How magic it was after the concert... once we took twith him the same flight, Milan-Moscow, if you take the business class, then it is almost sure that you will met some celebrity there. Yes, Italy is absolutely magic for visiting, vacation and short periods to live in.
And the food, the waiters, the whole athmosphere, starting with the expresso and brioshe in the morning, make a trip to Italy a surreal experience.
We should go more often there now because with all the EU regulations, so many treasure businesses are being lost,, centuries of familie's experiences, and we should enjoy them before it will be missed forever.
I remeber a little shop with hand made fresh pasta, absolutely impossible taste to forget and it's owner was a good smily giant man who would go every morning, very early, to deliver around large wooden cases ... or the square pizzas at Piazza Erbe's tiny shop, also in Verona, where one of the owners once played with Louis Amstrong and the walls were all covered with autographs of so many big names... both places had closed because they did not have enough funds to make improvements as was requested by stupid monstrous EU's laws.
And when you are in in Italy you are literally visiting many small countries, all with italien charm, but each region, city are all so distinguished, unique, not to speak about how extremly different are the south and north, mountain's retreats and sea escapes. Enjoy and if you will go there, please, post pictures of surroundings, to inspire all ET!

The man has a serious set of pipes.

To me he is less 'opera' and more pleasant. I don't like the very exaggerated sound many have. Call me a heathen.
I know what you mean, and I'm inclined to agree. It's one of the reasons I added Sarah Brightman's Classics CD to my (small) collection several years ago:

I don't know if that makes me a heathen, but I like the softer tone.

I spotted that today (Brazil)! Unfortunately it conflicts with a little trip I have planned with my daughter. I'm finally going to see a Henry Rollins gig..90% sure.. she is not the best at keeping secrets.

Possibly something to do with He Never Died 2.. which I think was shooting last May. Love that movie.
