Very nice to read you, thank for sharing. Have you ever tried some meditation retreats? Or traveling in sacred places, like Machu Picchu, Camino de Santiago? Certainly first is your daughter, but for sure you have something more to open within yourself. Maybe painting, poems writing - any path to let bloom your own creativity.
Indeed good ideas, I have been drawn to several galleries on holidays in the past week.

I have worked Africa in anti-poaching so I have had a lot of quiet time in nature, it is great. A lot is made about learning to listen to your breathing and heartbeat (literally) however there is something to it's simplicity. After a while in isolation with only the wind through grass and insects does a power of good.
Knowing where the quiet place in your head is and how to reach it under stress is a life saver sometimes. I recon it helps me trade as I can calm myself better than most though I mostly do intraday trades on Futures.
I may do something like the Camino, I have been thinking about the Appalachian trail or similar since I read Bill Bryson's book years back. The Camino in Spain is a little noisy, I know a few who did it and it is a great first walk as no pack required due to the very frequent amenities.
Right now I am enjoying my holidays and doing a lot more than I have done since my 30s.
