Mike's Swing Trading Journal

The smoothest trading vehicles are the ones that the masses dont touch.

Small to mid cap stocks.. will always be the best for equity swing traders... you get good follow through and they can trend beautifully.

Look at UTHR.. the past few days... it was a great play.. although I left a lot of money on the table. That was one smooth breakout. Take a look at ER2, NQ, ES... a bunch of noisey whipsaw the past few days.

Great advice. While Elitetrader is full of super traders who take 10 pts a day out of the indexes, most of my success has come from trading issues which fly a little below the radar. Nice journal.

Why not go long X? it closed at lows and look at the daily candlestick charts

Was that a joke?.. read my thread.. i have rules that I follow and X fails each one.

I cant find any longs...

All my positions are short.. but my size is relatively small.

Hi,

I am also mostly in short positions, but now I am in HIW long too.
I am watching also PEP for possible long breakout.

BTW: UTHR was nice run up. I was in sooner then you announced and sold in several parts between 50 - 51.50 :)
