A revolt is brewing in the middle class
At 2:00 A.M. on the last day of legislative session before their summer vacation the Pa. state legislature voted themselve a 16% to 54% pay hike. This is on top of their yearly cost of living increases and extremely generous benefits and perks.
Prior to that vote no one had ever paid any attention to state level politics. A firestorm of protest has erupted for the past two months here and does not appear to be letting up . Grassroots organizations are forming and are planning to remove every incumbent from office . This is just one of those grassroots efforts .
