Mid-East Peace: A Viable Solution

So everybody knows it....

LOL...

Quote from fhl:

The one truth that i do know is that the so called occupation of the west bank and gaza is not the issue. I know it and so does every other rational mind around. Return to 67 is a con, and no matter how many times its uttered, it doesn't change the truth. I should have known you wouldn't admit it.

Quote from ZZZzzzzzzz:

Disarming requires killing innocent civilians?
LOL, I am glad you heeded my advice regarding the innocent civilians strawman, you're becoming way too predictable. How else can you hide the fact that you have no leg to stand on in this debate and don't have the guts to admit that you're wrong. Hezbollah hides behind innocent civilians, so do you.

Anyway, Lebanon failed to disarm them, the UN failed to disarm them, the rest of the world which you claim is impacted by the situation failed to disarm them. They all promised to disarm them and they all failed but someone has to disarm them, Z10.

Have I stated anywhere that Hezzebollah is right for what they have done or what they are doing?

You continue to confuse your rationalizaiton for the killing by the Israelis with the wrong that Hezzebollah may have done.

Where did you learn that 2 wrongs are not still 2 wrongs?

No but you failed to come up with any alternative way to disarm them. Oh yeah, the Lebanese people, the UN and the rest of the world all promised to disarm them... Right...how could I forget. Now 6 years after those promises and pledges Hezbollah is stronger than it has ever been.

Saying they are wrong and wishing them away does not work in real life, someone has to do it.

I don't see what Israel is doing as "wrong", I see it as an unpleasant but unavoidable job they have to finish and I put the blame for this mess squarely on Hezbollah. The impotence and indifference of the Lebanese government, the UN and the rest of the world did not help either.

No, I suggested alternatives, you said they wouldn't work.

I said the alternatives you suggested were tried before and did not work, failed miserably. Would you hire Michael Heckuvajob Brown to handle Hurricanes? See I did not think so. The lebanese government, the UN and the rest of the world were also doing a heckuva job protecting Israeli borders and disarming Hezbollah during the last six years.

So if something didn't work in the past, it will never work in the future?

You forgot about Ray (the bus) Nagin, and Kathleen (blockade) Blanco. :D

That should certainly be the working assumption until people responsible for the screwup come up with an extremely solid and detailed explanation and analysis on what went wrong the last time and how they intend to improve it and make it work in the future.

This isn't happening yet and therefore here is a pop-quiz for you - doing exactly the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of what mental disorder?

Don't forget to include king bushie in the list.

By the way, a local Parish (county) 100% of whose housing stock was damaged by Katrina, wanted to hire heckuvajob brownie to help them with hurricane recovery work!!!!!! No kidding...

However, when the news got out, the public outcry forced the parish administrators to abandon that great idea.
