I'm starting this thread to see if anyone else here has some good stories or experiences about the backbone of Chicago's Futures Exchanges, The Mid-America Commodity Exchange(read sarcsasm). It was also known affectionately by us in the know as "DA MIDAM".

i felt dirty every time i went through that floor..... i started to take a trader position on the mid-am but i didn't trust the guy backing me.

...just that I knew a few people that started their trading careers there ... they eventually moved up and bought Merc seats and/or traded on the full CBOT ....
