Maybe in the following decade the bank proved more useful to the world than the obviously biased writers. Funny that a Nobel would be awarded if that wasn't the case.

You need to look at the history of the awards. Gandhi, Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, Jonas Salk, James Joyce, etc never won a nobel prize. Yet Egaz Moniz, the inventor of the lobotomy won the prize. Yasser Arafat also won a peace prize. Even Hitler was nominated for a nobel prize. A couple of years ago a woman from Africa who believed AIDS was created by white people won the prize. This stuff is not new.
