We were in Greenville SC recently. Went to the museum there. They had a section devoted to racial equality, with a picture of four black men, wearing suits, being refused service at a lunch counter. The year was 1960. I was five years old. It was an eye opener to be reminded how recent this was.

1960 recent? You're kidding, right? The world has changed exponentially since then in any number of ways, and has changed in a enormous way regarding discrimination. I would say that on that matter the country has changed more, (for the better), in the last 50 years, than the previous 200 prior to 1960.
