Michelle Obama's School Lunch program: 4 million dollars worth of food thrown in the trash everyday

The thermodynamics model has been debunked, because different types of foods with the same calorie count will have different hormonal responses, particularly the rise of insulin. Our kids are not getting fat because they are lazy, they are getting lazy because they are getting fat.

So you're saying that today's cheeseburger causes a different hormonal response than yesterday's cheeseburger? Today's pizza is more fattening than the giant, oily meatball and sausage thing I used to wolf down when I was 23?

Honestly, how do you say this stuff and keep a straight face?

Sorry to AGAIN present FACTS you cannot refute. That seems to be an ongoing issue you can't deal with.

Your paint dry yet or are you stuck indoors for some other reason now?

Why do you even engage him? He's a worthless blowhard. Just toss an insult his way for good measure every so often, and be done with him.

For hamburger, ignoring the bun (which is what causes the blood sugar rise), it's no different from yesterday to today. As for pizza, yes, 500 calories of that will be more fattening than 500 calories of your meatball and sausage dish (assuming it does not have the carbs the pizza does).

You're way wrong on this. I suggest you do some of your own searching on "is a calorie just a calorie", or 'are all calories equal", etc.

Also have a look at Sam Feltham's overeating experiments. One month each, 5,794 calories a day, one month low carb, one month high carb. Data is there, with photos.

The idiot made some snide remark as he most always does when he's proven wrong by facts. Don't know why some people can't say "gee, I was wrong". He seems to be unable to do that. I've tried to ignore his posts of late.

So you're insinuating that breads are more fattening now. Wonder bread white (rayciss, I know) was one of the most fattening breads known to man, and it's nothing compared to today's carbs? Why don't you show me a source backing that up?

The only FACT!! you presented is that 70% (actually 68.8%) of US adults are overweight or obese. The rest is just your opinion.

Yes, the composition of today's carbs is different.

No, it's a FACT that overweight and obese people have more health issues that normal weight healthy people and thus incur higher expenses that in turns causes premiums to increase.
