I live in the south and have done so my entire life. I've yet to meet a white person who thinks that way. Many other black people would say the same. But, again, what about blacks who teach their kids prejudice? I have saw black families do that since I was old enough to comprehend. How come that's never addressed? You're kind of proving my point in that this fight against prejudice is a witch hunt against white people.

Btw, prejudices are also formed from real-world experience. I've met many whites were the liberal types in their younger years, but after trying to help blacks and seeing how this group treats them, they change their tune. Like most white liberals, they'd never been around blacks and would believe the leftist media's account of black victomology. After they actually get around blacks and see how they operate, again, they see that it's all a lie. I urge you and others to actually go around black people before you go to bat for them. You seem well-meaning but it also seems that you've never actually experienced blacks first hand in their environment.

You can't force it, but when and if I detect a racist in my business, I'll fire 'em. Which is why our people, highly diverse, yet possibly containing secret racists of all types, get along and make a tidy living for all. We have an organizing principle. Over time though, since racist behavior is not rewarded with resources, their DNA will not be passed on. Cooperation is our future. The children of our "black" and muslim engineers, draftsmen, and bean counters are going to college--they will outdo their parents.

How would you know? Even Paula Deen still doesn't "get" what was wrong with hiring black people to dress up as house slaves for a function. A great many white southerners sincerely believe that they aren't prejudiced. But watch them cross the street when approached by a group of black teenagers.

They learn never to drive through certain neighborhoods at night. They learn how to respond to challenges, particularly when they're alone.

Too many whites "work with" minorities not because they give a damn about the group but because they want to assuage their white guilt, or demonstrate how liberal they are. One finds this as well with the American Indian. But the whites get to go home at night, usually secure homes in "good" neighborhoods. Their charges don't have it so good.

And no, it isn't self-defense...it's victomology. If whites are that big a threat to blacks, why do the black on black murder rate show that although blacks are only 13% of the population, they account for more than half the murders. Not only that, 95% of blacks are killed by other blacks. If whites were such a threat, you'd expect to see whites killing blacks, but no, they're killing each other and acting as if whites are doing it. What's funny is that even civil rights leaders have stated that they feel safer around whites than they do around blacks. Your average black person will even tell you that it's not white people they're afraid of being attacked by, it's other blacks. But they somehow see whites as the enemy still.

I watched black families enter restaurants once they were legally allowed to do so and be seated because they had to be and then be ignored for so long that they had to gather themselves together and walk, embarrassed and ashamed and probably not a little angry, out of the restaurant to look for one which served Negroes.

I grew up with whites bombing black churches, preferably with children inside, stringing up "uppity nigras" for all to see, with no fear of consequence. Nowadays I see Southern whites comparing the First Lady to a monkey. So please don't tell me that this all comes from "media reports".

Go figure. The expectation was that life would be better in the North because of all that Yankees had spouted about freedom and equality and blah blah. No one pointed out that slavery was a very lucrative source of income for the North as well (where did all those slave ships come from?). I can't see that attitudes are much different in one place than another. The differences lie mostly in the degree of denial.
