I'm sympathetic to both sides of this discussion, but when it comes to motorcycling I'd like to have the option to sign a waiver for head injury treatment and be allowed to ride without a helmet. We can make Life so safe it's no longer worth living. The Canadians are trying that, imho, which is why I call 'em a nation of safety sissies.
A waiver, and life insurance to care for the dependents who will suffer due to the "freedom" of a major head injury on a motorcycle.
