Spoof Book Excerpt Convinces Some That Trump Is Watching ‘The Gorilla Channel’ In The White House

A Twitter user named Pixelated Boat put up a spoof excerpt from Michael Wolff’s book claiming that President Trump was upset that he couldn’t get “the gorilla channel” in the White House. The spoof went on to claim that Trump was bored by the makeshift channel until staff edited out everything but the gorillas fighting. Here’s the faux excerpt:

There are dozens (hundreds) more people with low follower counts who either believed this or weren’t sure if it were true when they first read it. You can take that as a comment on them or on the general believability of Michael Wolff’s book (“Fire and Fury”). Pixelated Boat had this to say about his intentions and the outcome of his spoof:

I have to disagree about the cheating part.
some men may think that way..
some wives may force men to think that way
some wives may think that way
However, cheating is not the right way.
An intelligent girlfriend once said to me (when I was in school) if you respect me enough to be your girlfriend show me due respect by breaking up with me before you cheat on me. This should apply to wives even more.
People observe you. When you respect the women around you, you gain respect in eyes of others. Some business people care about integrity. Your integrity can help get deals done or avoid business issues.
Trump like Clinton seem to suffer because of their lack of fidelity. You wonder how much better it could have been.

Successful men are entitled to cheat...it's been like that... since the beginning of time,
It's kind of simply one of the perks.

If you have to Pay for it...that's not really cheating though
That's just a weird business transaction agreement for services rendered...kind of like getting your taxes professionally done.
