Man, you need to do your research before jumping to conclusion. According to this article by CoinDesk, Saylors did acquire 17,732 BTC in 2020 for just under $10,000 ($9,882 to be exact).

https://www.coindesk.com/business/2...ael-saylors-17732-btc-holdings-now-worth-11b/

Those 17,732 are his personal bitcoins which he bought before MicroStrategy bought 129,000.

MicroStrategy did not buy any below $10,000, and has an average price of around $30,000.

"I informed MicroStrategy of these holdings before the company decided to buy bitcoin for itself".

LOL, looks like he front ran the company by taking a large position in his personal account just before he started buying in the company account.

Another example of how to become a multi millionaire.
Have a billion dollars worth of bitcoin and HODL.

It seems he had over a Billion dollars profit on his 17,732 personal bitcoins at the ATHs. Not bad for holding for one year.

But currently his PnL on that position is 'only' +$160million.

HODL is just dumb because eventually the luck runs out...

You ain’t kidding. The borrow fee for MSTR got prohibitive in a hurry.

Could replace some of the short mstr shares with short deep itm calls. Interesting that the 10 strike Dec 2023 mstr puts are trading around $2. Means market thinks there's a greater than 20% chance it goes bankrupt by then.

I would have given him huge credit if he sells over 50K or even better 60K. From 30K to 50K, that is a decent profit. But these guys always over hold.
