Covell is just not happy that Moore's film is a success (well, he is a household name, in documentary film making) and Covel's film is a DVD selling from his web site. No takers so far, Michael?
The fact is, and listen to this carefully, the "late" USA capitalism is an evil, immoral scam that was perpetrated by the multinationals for years. It is for the lack of a better word, "fuckism", a merging of fascist , mafia ideology with corporate exploitation.
What caused this downward slide? The merging of capitalistic business strategies with the common mafia tactics that was introduced around the time President Kennedy was killed. Slowly, the mafia and its ideology seeped into the US business world and now look what we have, a great big clusterfuck....
It is sad that the most cherished movie is the "godfather" saga but as life imitates fiction or is it the other way around, the actual cleansing of the mafia money has been going on for four decades now, and a lot of smart but immoral people with no integrity have found a way to get their MBA's and hence achieve a status as little self serving, corporate warriors. If you examine the US business world it is infested with mafioso ideals, tactics and morals.
The jig is up. Like it or not Moore's film is as timely as it is accurate. People will lap it up because it speaks the truth, while your bullshit of evangelizing trend following (in your movie) is pathetic. The only good thing about your movie is the poster.....
