This is interesting to me for a couple of reasons. I have a friend who trades and periodically he takes time to select a person from ET and train them. He doesn't take money for this. His "students" have to agree to make a donation to a charity (they choose how much and which charity) or, they agree to do volunteer work in their community (hospital, school , elder care facility, red cross, etc). It is all on the honor system by the way, and he doesn't mention it again, except if they find success. Then he asks them once again to make good on their promise and never says another word about it. The guy really knows the business and puts alot of himself into the work. Not all his students are successful, and he tells them right off the bat that he guarantees nothing except his intention to work hard to help them. He shows them what he does, answers all their questions and stays with the project through a reasonable period of time, and at some point, he says to them, "hey, I have done all I can do for you, you're on your own, go for it" Never shows anyone any documents, just gives of his knowledge and explains patiently why things do or don't work. He looks in on these threads and when folks talk about "unconditional moneyback guarantees" and "audited records" and references, basically what he says is "Hey, I'm a private person", "I could never submit myself to that kind of scrutiny". After a while, I see that it is really just too bad and so many of you have been screwed by folks who don't really have anything to offer except bullshit. I think there must be folks like my friend who have the time and the inclination to help others, but just don't have a temperment for that kind of close examination. Probably the same reason why so many good folks wont run for public office. Just my opinion. Lefty
 
lefty i only wish i could find someone to help me out like your friend. i really want to be a sucess in this field I just need some beginners guidance.

I agree that most of what is out there in the market(as in these systems on the web) is 99.9 percent crap. Believe me Ive spent thousands upon thousands already and havent gotten anywhere. I like the original poster was looking for more info on what Mr Seigel did provide. I have talked to him myself as well and didnt get into much detail. After all they dont want to share the golden egg before they are paid. I simply wanted to know what is he sharing?

I do appologize if i came across snappy. Its just my frustration. Is there anyplace or thing you can share with me that might help me get on the right path?

My main concern with this guy is why does he advertise a 100% money back guarantee but later in the fine print he says that's only for 3 days after you receive his course.... :confused:

This is VERY typical scam tactics and would not be nessesary for a legitimate vendor with something real to offer.

I have bought way to much of this stuff to be bluffed out by these marketing tactics.

So if he will not give you the 3 Cardinal conditions and you buy this, you WILL regret it, TRUST ME.

Looks like the manual/course has gone up to 3k and live training to 10k.
Wonder if this is a result of lack of clients or actual success of previous clients, thus justification for the increase.

I spoke with him several months ago. He seemed more like a salesman than a trader, and had a very aloof attitude. After doing some fairly extensive web searchs on the guy I could not find a single person that had traded his system. I probably posted on over 20 trading message boards/forums and nothing.
So no, I don't know for certain if the guy is legit, and apparently neither does anyone else. That was enough for me to take a pass.
 
I paid the man his pound of flesh back in 2002...it was my first time in the futures markets and the offer to learn from an ex floor trader with 30 years experience was attractive. At that time it was $5,000 and he came to my house in L.A to mentor me for the day. The continued unlimited phone support he gave me was very good. The S&P markets have changed considerably of course since 02'and the methods I was taught were tough to trade in the real world for this newbie. If you are well capitalized his methods worked, allowing you to stay the course and make the necessary trades. I have since been given his latest manual and I think finally he has a product (methodology) that can be traded profitably for most, regardless of account size. He is a very patient teacher, not a salesmen by any means and an ex attorney as well, so draw your own conclusions on the personality type. Im not sure where else you can go to work one on one with someone of his background and experience in the markets....so to answer the question yes his methods are profitable and no I don't work for him lol... :)

Has anyone heard about Bill Poulos and his course Quantum Swingtrader, it costs $1000 and I was wondering if anyone bought it at such a "big" price.
