If I recall correctly, Mr Bury took a lot of heat shorting RE.
I think we go much higher from here, not withstanding a "correction" over a shorter period.

Really depends on your timeframe.

If you are just buy and hold there is really no point in jumping ship.

If you are shorter to medium term you should get a nice buying opportunity by end of Sep.

10-20% should do it.

Woods would feel the wrath of a bear even if the markets would drop a simple 8-10%% meaning her funds are so juiced up with risk that a simple 8% correction in the market would send her funds falling 2 to 3 times more.......

Don't bet against the masses, the social media, the millennials and gen Z, the group think party kool-aid, the phones and apps, the stimulus.
To short, bet against, meme stocks, cryptocurrencies, social movements, tech stocks...would be insane in this modern day. Burry's resistance is nowhere near strong enough as the opposing Support. You would need serious down forces...such as the Fed increasing rates higher and higher and stopping spending of money, and Governments banning crypto, and a Coronavirus 3.0 wave variant.
But besides, Q1 2022....who cares that far out, traders don't invest that out far. I certainly don't. I live day to day.

Your comment gave me ADD.

If you are investing for the future most things will recover from crashes so yeah to echo an above comment - it depends on your time frame.

Cathie Wood's investing style didn't change since the inception of her funds. Its the market that changed. Her strategy makes sense long term. Shes running a post-IPO venture fund in a sense.

The pandemic accelerated almost every bet she made so she got 10 years of growth in 12 months -- from March 2020 to March 2021. From her Genomics plays to Fintech to Software they all skyrocketed at the same time.

If you look at the performance of ARKG, ARKF, ARKK & ARKW they didn't really beat the market much before March 2020. Actually ARKW did outperform QQQ from the bottom in 2016 to Feb 2020 by a lot (250% vs. 150%) but I assume that was based a lot on Tesla.

Michael's trying to Burry his Wood
Males, all males, are basic, primal, creatures. We are concerned with only two things: collecting, generating, resources...and/or reproduction/sex for pleasure.
That's a very basic statement, but also incredibly profound how it shapes and moves all aspects of everyday life -- and the market.

I have literally been home for the past two/three weeks, alone, no interaction. Today, I went to Walmart...seeing people, walking amongst people, and females...felt so alive and primal.
