Your Joking of course. He had Mother Russia, which by the way is a major world power, working 24-7 non-stop to flood the internet with "alternative facts". He had some major fat cat Republicans feeding his campaign. He had all the lies on his side. He also had the Republican Party, the official part, pretending to be unified behind him. The old guys all despised him as trash, who wouldn't? But you didn't hear a peep out of them in public until well after the election. All the Republican one-percenters were licking their chops anticipating their tax windfall and accelerated income redistribution from the labor class to capital. They hated the Donald privately as much as they loved cheap labor. (If they can't have slaves, they'll learn to live with seven-twenty-five an hour.) They see the Donald as unschooled, ill-mannered, tacky beyond belief, and a liar and a thug -- wouldn't be caught dead in a Trump Hotel. Publicly, however, they grinned through clenched teeth all the way to the bank..
