I follow sports breaking news on twitter and just a little bit ago they informed me that Sam is going to wear number 96 for the Rams.
I guess it's a preview of next years NFL season. Anything to do with this homosexual is part of the daily news. St Louis should be happy on one count. Bob Costas will make sure that the Rams are on Sunday night football as many times as possible.

Maybe he'll wear #96 for the same reason Question Mark & the Mysterians went with "96 Tears" years ago .... so one wonders if Sam really wanted to wear 69 but was worried of the fallout.
How we came up with the name â96 Tears,â see, when we were putting the song together, Question Mark was singing, âToo Many Teardrops,â and I think we wanted to call it that, but then our drummer said, "Let's call it â69 Tears!â"

Even though I was only 14 when we were recorded the song and 15 when it came out, I knew what 69 meant.

Michael Sam doing a reality show and he intentionally kept it a secret from the Rams, but he says its the medias fault he has become a sideshow. Before being drafted, in interviews and even a Visa commercial, the 24-year-old has stressed the same theme: âJudge me for what I do on the field.â
Along those lines, a particular quote sticks out when reading Samâs Sports Illustrated interview after he first came out earlier this year:
âYou know, people â the media, of course â are going to make a big deal out of it. It is a big deal, but, you know, Iâm just â I have a job to do. My job is to try and play in the NFL. Nothing else.â
Problem is⦠Samâs decision to allow Oprah Winfreyâs OWN network to do a reality show on him flies in the face of everything Sam has said in terms of the way the public should view him. If itâs only about playing in the NFL and nothing else, that nothing else of cameras following his every move just made his chances of actually making the St. Louis Rams roster considerably more difficult.
Know this: Rookiesâparticularly 7th round draft picks that routinely get cut before the seasonâdonât get their own reality show. Life is tough enough being a fresh new face on the team, and players and coaches alike will not take kindly to any rookieâgay or notâputting himself over the team. Making himself the focus.
Either way, at least for now, itâs a big win for Oprah. Her network struggled mightily at first despite the huge brand name, but is now operating in the black via reality programming (or as she describes it, a âdocumentary-series formatâ).
But for Sam, it only gets worse when considering the Rams organization didnât even know about said reality show. According to TMZ, the deal was signed before Sam was even drafted but was kept private to avoid his stock to fall even further. Remember, the Missouri defensive end was originally supposed to go in the 4th or 5th round, but a (by all accounts) poor NFL Combine performance (which is basically an audition all prospects get in March) forced his value to drop. If Sam revealed the Oprah deal, the Rams (or any other team interested) may have avoided being part of the drama that goes along with any reality program. And by keeping it quiet until now, any trust the Rams had in him is already gone.
