since Mexico is one of our 2 [large] neighbors,
wouldn't it be a good thing if Mexico were a more successful country?
and with that in mind,
why can't/don't we help them more, work with them more, get closer to them, etc etc?
at the moment, they are just sort of out of mind
[not to mention, recently we are sort of at arguing with Mexico]
