Most of Mexico, Central and South America would have to be burned to the ground, Parts of Asia also. It's a world wide problem that mandates very ugly solutions.

Tax dollars being put to good use, for a change.
It amazes me that the establishments of both parties are obsessed with sending our military to every conceivable place on earth, but are adamant against having them perform their core Constitutional mission of protecting our own country's borders.
The drug cartels are a clear and present danger, and it is naïve to believe they are not rapidly infiltrating our own country. We know that they already control border towns in the southwest. They may well control pols in LA and SF.
Mexico does not have veto power over steps we take to insure our security. If it requires us to operate inside their territory, they will just have to get used to it. Frankly there is nothing they can do to prevent it. They are pretty much cooperating with the cartels now, so they have no legitimacy.

Ah yes, Mexico will have to get used to it. Because dealing with an insurgency force countering an invasion worked out so well in Iraq. And that was against a broken people with a weak sense of patriotism from decades of despotic rule.
Yes Sir. Yes Sir. 3 bags full. The Hells Angels run the drug trade in Canada, along with the Asian Triads to a lesser extent, Rebels and Banditos. They are never arrested. Their property is never confiscated. There are zero raids on their property. There are zero large drug seizures in Canada. Only the lone cowboys and small street gangs (5-20) guys are rounded up. So the cops can make it look like theyre enforcing the law. I've had cops tell me they never go after the Angels because "its political". To my face. You see, our Governments in North America make a percentage of all the narcotics that flow through our countries, have the higher levels organized criminal enterprises manage (Bikers, Crips, Bloods, Cartels), take their percentage, then enforce and throw the book at the street dealers to make it look like they're enforcing the law while they ferry the profits out the back door to the CIA or CSIS, or whoever, after the cops, judges, prosecutors etc etc are paid off. So the CIA can run two sets of books and run their black OPS against other nations and perhaps our own. Thats reality. Its a real fucking mess. Our countries (European and NA) are so fucking corrupt its sickening. The rot is deep. The entire Judicial system, Judges are in on it. The Federal Prosecutors. DEA. the works. Neck deep.
Now after us, take Central and South America. Literally half their economies are drug profits and trafficking, one way or another. Nobody cares down there. Thats just how its done. So we're all going to rise or fall on our own morality on this one.
I say we clean house, arrest the bureaucracy from the very top, all the way down the list. Judges, Cops, federal prosecutors, DEA etc, exterminate organized crime. Confiscate all the property. Then legalize everything and make coke / heroin 10 bucks a gram. Have the government sell and let civvies grow in their own backyard.
Anyway, I feel like we're headed for a recknoning one way or another.
The cops, judges, prosecutors, CIA, FBI are in on it man. The high level organized criminal enterprises are never touched here in Canada. Ive had cops tell me to my face the Hells Angels (our top group here) are never arrested because "its political". Its a system. Government manages the whole thing for a percentage of the profits. Judges. Prosecutors. The works. How do we solve that.
